Re: someone please tell me a made the right laydown, please
[ QUOTE ]
on the last round he did the same thing and i shipped it w Ak he gave a speech and folded. [/ QUOTE ] I'm kind of assuming that he's more of a nit in an old cranky sort of way as opposed to a nit who only open raises with TT+/AQ+ With the quote above and stacks this shallow this is just a super standard push pf. He's giving his best tough guy talk to say "arrghh...stop coming over the top of me..., I'll lay it down this one time"...which is all bluster. Given that you've now shoved on him twice you could totally get a spite call with way worse than AJ. Like Barry said, this is standard button stuff, folding is weak and you are too shallow to "outplay" him post flop. If the stars lined up for him and he got AK or whatever this time around, so be it. Re: someone please tell me a made the right laydown, please
Shove pre-flop, please. Even old nits have a wide raising range from the Button, and you shouldn't refrain from pushing just because you did it recently against the same guy. I actually think you would've pushed online, but we're afraid to look too loose and foolish live, and called instead.

Re: someone please tell me a made the right laydown, please
LOL at people saying fold pre-flop
OOP - 3 bet him/all-in, best line here no doubt hate your fold on river, he bet under his PF raise on turn and checked it on flop ...and then re-raises u all-in on river? he prolly puts you on a steal and is bullying you around |
