Default NL100 AK in 3bet pot like my line?

Villian is unknown just won my stack 2 hand before this pot with KK in a 3bet pot.

I'm questioning my play here I think the turn check was fine but I should have shoved the river. Let me know guys

i don't like river check, we need to get value from weaker holdings...after turn check, shove river imo

turn check is meh imo, but OK i guess

after turn c/c, i vb the river by sticking him in.

not sure i like the turn check, i assume you are c/f there?

imo - i stick it in on the turn without a read.

Since he didnt raise you on the flop im having a hard time to see that hes got you beat since its a board of draws... And the turn didnt change anything so I'd lead here about 75%. As played I dont think that he shoves for value here and you did a good but marginal call. if he had KQ or QQ he'd bet turn? Mabye he'll check AQ. Some stats would make it easier to decide..

I'm not folding this hand in a 3bet pot, just thought this was a different way to extract value. As a standard I would shove turn. But wanted to know what you guys feel of this line. I feel like I can get more value out of AQ but prob miss value from draws although it's very unlikely he has one here since I have the Ac

i don't think betting/checking the turn makes that much of a difference here.

turn check is not c/f; it's c/c (c/r if he bets some retardedly small amount)

turn check is whatever, but you should definently shove river once you check turn.

Its a tough spot actually with his stacksize. There arent an easy way to extract max value from this hand against that stack. So it turned out that your check on the turn was good. I find it hard to check that river but vnh if you counted on him to shove river.

I really like the river c/c becuase it gives him the chance to put more money in the pot with a busted draw (which is more likely due to the flop texture) that would otherwise fold to a river shove. IMO, picking up this value will more than make up for the times that he checks behind a hand that would have called our shove.

so you're expecting him to show up w/ QJc/JTc/T9c/QTc?

edit: i just don't see the villain having a missed drawing hand often enough to make checking this river preferable to leading.
