Record for Buy-Ins Lost, Won Back, and Re-Lost in One Session?
I don't really post much anymore, and I probably suck at BBV, but here it goes...
There was once a BBV thread on personal records for buy-ins successfully chased in a single session. I set my personal record for buy-in chasing tonight when I dropped four buy-ins at 5/10 NL and scratched back to even. I unchecked "auto-post blinds" on my tables and got ready to call it a night. Unfortunately, during that orbit, I got 2-outered all-in and then lost a 3-way all-in as a 3-2 favorite. So, instead of being up three buy-ins, I was now down two buy-ins. After a couple more hours, I was back at my low-water mark: down four buy-ins. I know that four buy-ins isn't a ton to successfully chase, but I thought that it might be respectable in the "chase, re-lose" category... Who can top this? Incidentally, I don't have a graph; just picture a backwards N, and that's what the graph would look like... ML4L PS I'm pretty sure tonight was the best poker that I've played all year, yet it ends up as one of my biggest losses. Ironic... |

I had a live 100max session in which I ran my hundred up to 900ish, lost it all back and bought in 3 more times.
