Default Minor Scratches on a black car.....use a black marker?

Has anyone done this before on real minor scratches? I know it's kinda "ghetto" but I think it would look better than the silver metal underneath.

If it is a minor scratch you can just polish it out

first black car? get used to seeing scratches on it.

marker is for gheys, you can use compound and remove it. Follow it up with a nice wax and you should be all set

I am a big fan of Mothers and Meguiars car products they do a really good job

Before you do any of it , try it on a small section on the bottom of your car

here is a link to the Meguiar product line Meguiars Car Care

Hmmm....is all that stuff pricey? I wanted a cheap, decent looking solution.

Go to the dealer and they will give you the correct touch up paint for free.

that fact that you are seeing metal makes me think you need touch up paint anyway, just get a fine bistle brush and try and fill it in level leting small thin coats dry and try before you compound and buff it anyway to blend

i mean thats if you want it to look perfect. If not the nail polish or marker is fine for your ghetto ass

Most of them, it is just a little nail polish like bottle filled with paint to match your factory color.

I must be going to the wrong dealers. I always see them selling for like $10-$20.
