I got laughing gas while being able to listen to music so Billy Joel and I were constantly circling and feelin' good, in the river of dreams.

misschriss, getting your wisdom teeth really isn't all that bad. the worst part is the immediate 3 days after the surgery where it hurts to eat anything semi-solid (scrambled eggs for the win). for me they put the laughing gas mask on, then i got a needle of sodium thiopental ([censored] awesome!!!) which knocks you out like instantly. so one second there was a needle in my arm and the next i woke up and everything was cool. i left walking out of there with my designated ride and in the pharmacy downstairs had the most pleasant shopping experience i've ever had (still super super high, knees weak, and gauze in my mouth (not that i knew it was there yet)). gl hf

Stupid UK dentists - most of them don't have lisences to use gas as anesthesia (something to do with them not having the correct equipment to recussitate if you don't come around. So instead we get 4 big injections right in your mouth up into your face. Most [censored] up feeling ever. No wonder we all have crappy teeth.

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled without being put under. The bottom 2 were a bitch but the guy is one of the best dentists in toronto and did the job as smoothly as possible.
As for the pain aspect, the top 2 didnt hurt at all and the bottom 2 fcked me up for a week once the novocain wore off. enjoy the prescription pain killers.
