Live 3/6 game

Live 3/6 game
table is typical loose/passive. Most players have been pretty predictable, betting when they hit, etc.
villian in this hand is fairly new, but from what I've seen she loves to call and usually to the river.

3 limpers, sb calls, I check my option w/ A8o.

flop: 853 2 hearts

checked to me, I bet, 2 callers.

turn: 9 not a heart

checked to me, I bet, this time I get 1 caller.

river is the 7 of hearts

villian checks, value bet?

My live experience is limited, but from what I have seen, most players will just call down, and usually call the river with any piece, is there enough value in this bet, that river card was pretty nasty, but I really don't see her check/raising.

If they're not tricky or anything, definitely bet/fold.

The river card sucks, but grit your teeth, close your eyes, and fire away.

If she C/R's you, you're toast and can easily fold, IMO.

Since you do not have much history on your Villian - I would tend to err on the side of aggression. I bet. She could be testing you out, too. At 3/6 many live players will call down at showdown, particularly if they are the last defender, just to make sure that you aren't just plain stealing the pot. That makes for easy value bets.

Is she the type of player that would donk into you when she hit her flush? I know a lot of people at this limit will do that. Given that she didn't bet, I think this is a b/f, but I can't see her c/r'ing a river

Easy bet/fold here. People call you down with all kinds of crap in these games. You have a solid pair, and (once she checks the river) it's more likely she has a pair than a flush draw. Obviously fold to a checkraise.

ok, I was just checking, haven't played in a while. I did indeed bet, and I agree it was the best play. No way this player was check/raising. She won with TJ for the straight. I really think the 3rd heart scared her, or else I think she would have donked it. I guess teh real question then becomes, would I fold to it. I think it would be correct to do so, not sure if I would have though.
