Default River bluff with low pocket pair

CO is 28/15/1.25 on 80 hands. Went to SD 5.88

I don't like it. I think he folded because you just had the best hand.

He might fold AK, AQ, maybe TT. The rest of his 3bet range is calling imo.

Fold PF.
Not crazy about the flop call OOP. We're hoping he has AK here and that he shuts down on alot of turns. Check this river. This bet isn't a bluff. It's not pushing out anything that beats us.

Preflop fold is pretty standard, you aren't getting the odds to call for a set because you arent deep enough. A good general rule is that you cant call a 3bet purely for set odds when you are 100bb deep.

One reason is that MP might 4-bet and then we'll have to fold. Another is that we are OOP so our implied odds go down.

Edit: And ama points out we are effectively 100BB deep against the CO 3 bettor (I read him as the one who is 200BB deep).
