Without a read, fold. You're only beating a bluff. Villain failing to cbet this flop is pretty suspicious. It should be automatic. He may just be an idiot but there's also a good chance he's "trapping" with at least an overpair if not a set/straight.

This is a call against some players, ie: who will play AK[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] like this but not against an unknown. It's a raise sometimes, but villain would have to be pretty weak-tight and I'd need a strong read that he can fold an overpair to my straight/full house since his flop play indicates he's looking to trap us and therefore is unlikely to fold.

Yeah, villain's line is just very wierd. If I knew he was just a passive donk who doesn't like to cbet it's an easy call. And you're right, you're getting great odds.

meh, you might be beat by 88-TT that is trying to slowplay only you checked the turn through.

I might let this one go, even with the great odds simply because you really do only beat a bad bluff and he knows your at least semi-interested in your hand. His bet sizing looks like he wants a call too.
