this is a far more promising article.

good to hear that the opposition to this bill appears to be more than just rumors.

Not sure about the numbers regarding casino donations, etc.
Wouldn't most (all?) of that be B&M casino corporations?
That figure is kind of misleading imo as some could get the impression that it's ALL coming from the overseas online-sites.

If PP and PS aren't lining the pockets of every senator up for re-election right now then they deserve to what they get. They may have to be a little tricky about it, but I'm sure there's a way.

at last some positive news on the progress of this crazy situation.

At least the US Senate seems to have a bit of a clue regarding things that are actually important.

Not that it makes a great deal of difference to me here in the UK, but it is kind of good to see at least someone in the Senate considered this ridiculous and placed a "hold" on it - great news.

Excellent to see that the sheer hypocrisy of that bill held it up. Now we just have to make it to November so those conservative dickwads can't use it as campaign leverage. It's looking good!
