50NL: KJ flops top pair

Villain is a 28/4 over a small sample size. I thought his range probably included worse Kings so I called down. Didn't think he'd bet a queen again when the flush hits the river.

Is there a point where I should have raised (flop maybe?) or is a call-down fine?

I raise this 1/2 pot donk due to the draws on board. If he calls I probably check turn for pot control and fire a river blank. With the club hitting the river I would have checked behind. I guess as played I can find a fold because Im not sure what we are ahead of at this point that keeps firing.

Why would he bet Kx but not Qx on the river?

I raise/call the flop given stacksizes. 100bb deep I would like a call on the flop.
