Default $22- stdrd pf AK question

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament

Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: t2380
UTG+1: t2880
MP1: t2460
MP2: t1050
MP3: t2430
CO: t4470
Hero: t1910
SB: t560
BB: t1860

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG calls t60 (pot was t150), 3 folds, MP3 raises to t180, CO calls t180 (pot was t510), Hero raises all-in t1910

I would´ve flat called if CO folded but now there are t510 already in the pot.

Stats are filtered:
UTG limper 40/8
MP3 raiser 18/11
CO cold-caller 57/14

Many people will say push but I have pushed with AK SO many times and lost it is silly.

FOR ME - it's early in the match and my AK is looking like a VERY expensive drawing hand.

Those t450 will sure look nice in your stack.

Push this always.

This is somewhat interesting, IMO. You have to be careful with tighter players raising over limpers.

Shoving is good here because of the squeeze & the dead money.

IMO he raises AK, TT+ only..we are not ahead of any hand in this range really..+ we have another guy calling the raise who steals our substantial A or K outs...I flat call this and re-evaluate on the flop..I know pushing is +ev. But there will be bigger +ev situations in late game.

In position, it can still be AJ,AQ,smaller pairs. Can't rule those hands out.

I think we can shove here too. PFR isn't tight enough to make me want to fold/flat.

Exactly my thinking - why push now and risk so much when there will be better opportunities later when the chips are worth more.

Please, no. Pushing is +ev and you can't explain that away by saying "i'll wait for more +ev spots and ignore certain ones". AK is not a limping hand, webster.

Incidentally, the coldcaller makes not pushing this hand awful. Many times the original bettor will fold and donky-mcfish stats will call you super wide. WAYYYY plus Ev to be pushing here.

This is a very standard pushing spot.
