*unassociates his bank account from his epassporte*

I just opened an account with CO, as they offered to waive the credit check and previous bounced check check to open my accounts.

I sure as hell won't be putting squat into them now.

You are about a week late with your midnight revelation.
Citizen Bank Sucks
There is nothing wrong with the checks, apparently Citizen Bank is retarded in regards to clearing checks from foreign processors. Get your checks, open an account at a different bank.

This is very disturbing.

ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND is the bank Poker Stars uses. It's the bank all players on Poker Stars supposedly have their funds in. If a subsidiary of RBOS, Citizens Bank, is placing holds on checks associated with gambling sites, then the funds of every American player on Poker stars are in jeopardy. End of story.

Search for a thread on this from last week. I'm not sure the gambling911 article was accurate. If it was then Citizen's apparently reversed their policy because IIRC that guy's funds were eventually credited. I'd consider changing banks though.

ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND is the bank Poker Stars previously used. It's the bank all players on Poker Stars did have their funds in. If a subsidiary of RBOS, Citizens Bank, is placing holds on checks associated with gambling sites, then the funds of every American player on Poker stars are in jeopardy if they still used that bank. End of story.

i have had the exact same thing happen at PNC bank. (this check was for considerably less than yours) tell me to wait 3 weeks.. they send the check to collections (standard?).. i call back a month later..check has now been sent somewhere else for investigation...this was almost 60 days ago. they still will not give me any information on the check. ive been trying to get WPEX to put a stop payment on it and issue me another, which is a pain in the ass itself because they want copies of the check, other information that the bank will not provide me with. and the live help people seem to forget to process my request every time. moral of the story, request cashout Feb 12 stil no monies. if u need your money anytime soon i would see if citizen;s will return your checks to you and take them to another bank.

If you just cashed these checks, could all these problems be avoided? Or will the bank not cash them for you? What about some other area bank? Then you could just return and deposit the cash with no worries, right?
