Default FTP + PAHUD lags me so hard

According to the people over at PA, they say that FTP's drawing methods for hands is very bad which causes a lot of people to lag. Honestly, this lag tilts me sometimes and I find myself doing ridiculous things because I get so frustrated. Should I move sites for the time being? I'm getting a new comp hopefully next week, I assume this will help but any ideas? Gawd I hate that lag...

FWIW, for me Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Service Pack 2 + 2.40 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 + 2048 Megabytes Installed Memory = no FTP lag with PAHUD doing up to 7 tables.

I have much less than the above configuration and i get no lag with 4 tables, try posting/searching over at pahud's forums they have documented quite a bit about this problem.
