Default NL25: weird flop betting

villain is a 57/13/2 who seems to play pretty much like his stats suggest. he doesn't really do much betting PF whether its raising or 3betting. have not seen him do anything stupid or out of the ordinary postflop up until this point. His calling range PF is something like 20% of his hands. I really cannot fathom him playing a set like this ever especially given how aggro I have been on the flop (I am betting this flop >90% of the time against him which might be a leak). I do not think he has A5 since I hold two of the aces and not really sure if he would call PF with 56. He is more the type who likes broadway cards for calling PFRs. Who is calling and who is folding and why? FWIW i interpreted this bet at the time for a "please fold your hand now" type bet.

I call. Wouldn't be surprised to see a draw or weak overpair here a lot. If he plays a set/straight like this, then good for him.

I'm definitely considering this a "please fold you hand now" bet until I get a read otherwise. This is a five, AK or a flush draw a big amount of the time, and most of the other times it's a big overpair that just got pissed that he has to play on a scary flop. If villain flips over a set/straight put a note down that his flop shoves are mishandled attempts at value, not bluffs.

I call and pretty feel good about it. His range is very wide. Sets and straights are a minor part of that range, imo.

It's not like he can put you on a big overpair due to pre-flop that you can't get away from. He'd be trying to get a lot more value with sets.

well i snap called and he had 55 and i wondered after that if i made the right decision cause i didn't think about it, i was just like "noway he plays a set like this call." of course he hit the 6 and i lost. i didn't raise cause dude was left behind me and i wanted him in too as he could literally have ATC.
