C, he's a horse of mine so I am more likely to play tighter vs him in the bb

I'm pretty sure playing differently against someone because you own a piece of their action is a serious faux-pas.

when i figured out a calling range last night it was like.. almost exactly the same as DJK's. Think I left out J4s and 89o but other than that it was the same. folding 44-22 here would be really bad imo.

edit: also, folding any ace....

wtf people????

55+, A7+, K8+, QJ.

If you lose your stack takes a big blow and you lose the ability to do multiple things.

Compounded with the fact that if Shaun really is shoving that wide of a range you could probably find a much better spot in the next orbit or two, but I don't really think he's shoving as wide a range as you guys are thinking. In a vacuum I think it's fine but this has everything to do with game dynamic and it's hard to account for that.

I'm going with feel and that's the range I get from feel.

I once heard from someone that "less than 1% of 1% of players can fold when they are a 55/45", I am pretty sure that folding 44 here at these odds is a bigger mistake.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not if you think that shaun's range is as tight as I think it probably was, depending on game dynamics.

Shaun,
The fact that you have been playing tight is pretty irrelvant, it is very relevant vs. an unknown, but versus you it should probably be a reason to call wider since you have a tight image and are capable of exploiting it.

Also irt to c ZOMG COLLUSION

Gobbo,
I know it is just a rough range, but not factoring in suitedness is really bad against 100% A2s = A6o. Also it's pretty tough to find range where K8o> QTs

If i had to say shaun shoves too tight, or too loose.... i'd definitely lean towards too loose.

i think i could be convinced to fold a lot of the J high hands that only have like 42-43% equity... but A2o should have almost 50% here, and that would be reallly bad, imo.

<3 how everyone is way too absurdly tight at M of 4 and less and will continue to make all my money from that fact alone considering I actually suck at actual poker.

Shaun pushes too wide.

I like to call too wide.

This range is cEV neutral if Shaun is pushing the top 7.5% of hands. I think most people in this thread think he's pushing closer to 75% than 7.5%. I'll pass up a marginal spot for 1/2 my stack for the reasons you stated, but A2o isn't marginal here IMO.
