5-10nl game at Caesars (actually a 5-10-20 because of a mandatory straddle), moneymaker convinces him to sit in our game, him and MM have ~25k each, he is fairly drunk.

I raise A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] to 80 in the CO (mistake #1) and Brad calls on the button, Moneymaker calls in the SB.

Flop comes J62 1 spade, MM checks I cbet 220, both call, SWEET.

Turn T, it's checked through.

River Q, check to me, I bluff 550 thinking they will fold any single pair (mistake #2).

Let me just say that I am a big live noob, play maybe once every couple months, and although I can control obvious tells my heart still gets goin in big hands, blah blah blah. Brad is talking some [censored] and laughing with moneymaker and then he turns to me and says loudly "HEY IM BRAD WHAT'S YOUR NAME?" and extends his hand to shake.

-oh [censored], i think to myself, what the [censored] [censored] do i do now. Ok I can either just stare ahead like a douche and not do anything, but he might interpret that as weakness. I guess I'll just shake his hand and say my name (mistake #3). As I extend my hand and say "Hey I'm Noah" he quickly says "LEMME HOLD YOUR HAND" and shoots his left hand out to firmly hold my hand in place while he blatantly feels my pulse with his right index finger.

-[censored] [censored] [censored] I could pull my hand away but he's holding it strongly enough that it would be hard and my hand would go shooting back and it would be obvious i don't want him feeling my pulse

So I sit there awkwardly for a few seconds while he realizes my heart is going at like 150bpm and i finally pull my hand away. He laughs for a few seconds and says 'it's ok i was gonna call before i knew your pulse anyways' calls the 550, moneymaker folds KJo face up and says he knew he was good against me but not brad. Brad turns up KQo and takes it down.

I hate being a live noob. Also, I practice good game selection. Also, 2+2er stealthcow has a big mancrush on moneymaker and actually asked him for a picture which I will definitely post here soon.
