Re: Push or stop n go at 2 players: 99 in SB
I think I like a push better here. If you just call you may encourage the BB to come along for the ride, and I think you would rather discourage action from the BB. If you call and the BB folds I still think the pot would be too big to get the other two hands to fold when you push the flop. So I say push and hopfully it might just be heads-up.

tough one. Depends whether or not you think one of them will fold. I sure don't mind being all in PF but if both of them call it gets awkward.
I prefer a push now to on the flop, but I could go either way. |

I like shoving to get the BB to fold and to open up the possibility of getting the pot HU by encouaging one of the players to overshove which is reasonably likely with their stack sizes.

Folding is not an option or we are simply not discussing it?
I'd fold! |

Wow. This is scary.
Discussed before Consensus where to push, so I'm pushing. If I did otherwise, I would not have learned a thing would I? |

Folding is not an option or we are simply not discussing it? I'd fold! [/ QUOTE ] Folding is reasonable to consider, because this is the bubble. 10th plays 230, with prizes going up significantly for each place. So I have a significant $expectation by folding. Obviously, if I win this hand, my expectation goes up. 6-handed one big stack raises on the bubble and another calls in position, which makes me think 99 is ahead. However, I would fold anything weaker than 99. You don't want to fold into the money, but you want to be doing the stealing, not calling. I am pretty sure folding is not the best play, but it is not as obviously bad as it may seem to some 2+2ers. |
