raise or call?
Villain quite loose and aggressive. Does some weird uncharacteristic stuff, such as open limping on button.

Re: raise or call?
I call the turn and river or bet if checked to. If the board had more draws and i thought his donk was a semi bluff i would be more inclined to pop him on the turn.

Re: raise or call?
In terms of BB:
if he's bluffing - raise, 1; call, 2 if he has q or 8 - raise, 3; call, 2 Sometimes he'll check/fold the river when bluffing, and sometimes he'll fold the q or 8. When he has a 2, we lose the same by raising or calling. Since he's probably bluffing here more often than he has the q or 8, calling is probably better. |

He never has the 2
I'm calling the turn and raise the river. |

Re: raise or call?
oh right. Forgot about this line...
This allows him to bluff if he has nothing and still lets us get paid 3 bb by q and 8. So this is the winner, unless I'm missing something. Thanks. |

Re: raise or call?
I just raise the turn. This guy rarely ever has the 2 here. I understand the concept of letting him bluff off his chips but I think there are still merits to raising the turn.
He might be so bad you still get paid by tons of worse hands, lower PPs, A-high. A maniac is more likely go crazy with a bluff on the turn rather than the river so you might get him to 3-bet bluff here. I don't mind calling down a 3-bet on the turn vs a lunatic. Also raising this turn will discourage future turn donks which will help the hero a lot more when he doesnt have such a strong hand. Even LAGs can be taught tricks. |
