you have to bet the flop since it was 3bet PF. you still have showdown value and if UTG has a tight raising range, he probly has a whiffed AK or PP. i think you are betting and probably calling a push since villian is short and his raise would basically be a minraise.

If you bet flop nothing calls you but what beats you I think. So I would c/c this flop and if no A or K shows on turn shove there. If another Q hits turn that would be perfect as that would greatly reduce chance of villain having Q but I think anything other then a A or K on turn is a shove. You can bet flop but idk how many TT-99 or AK hands are coming along. Maybe T9. Also checking flop allows for AK or AJ to fire a cbet.

why? if you bet and he goes all in you get 3.5 to 1 on your call and against AA,KK,AQ,AK,kq ...you have 28 percent equity which makes it a fold ...(this depends on what range u want to give him ofcourse) and if his range is wide enough its a profitable call ...that plus fold equity , makes betting the flop +ev

seeing the numbers makes it appear to be a -ev call depending on villians range if villian raises AI. however, if this happened near the beginning of my session i'd probly just flip him for it anyway since he is a shorty. ya gotta gamble sometimes.
