I'm thinking of going this summer, I'll only be 20 though. Any chance of a fake ID getting me into the cash games/donkaments?

You should be fine without an ID, I've never been carded at any Vegas poker room and I know a lot of 18-20 year olds who haven't either. I think you have to register for some donkaments though, and if you had a big score they'd probably find out. Stick to cash games and you'll be all right.

Awesome. Thanks man.

Very nice report.

Pics please.

I'm going to get a skeet shooting disc as a card protector.

Great post.

I was just in Vegas last week for the 1st time ever and also played 1/2 at a couple different places.

The 1/3 NL sucked at the Wynn, was full of decent players Sunday afternoon.

Excaliber 1/2 was a pretty good game but just played there for an hour.

90% of my play was at Mandalay bay as I was staying there under the poker rate.

Games there last weekend were amazing. Rich, very drunk Europeans make for a great and fun game. Ended up winning a $1100+ pot at 1/2 NL there when my A high flush came through on the turn.

The max buy in there is $200 and one of the fish built his stack to over $4000. It was insane, he couldn't lose a pot. He cleaned me out for $600 so I had to run back to the room to get more money. Soon after I won the $1100 mostly from him and soon after that he lost all $4000 and left the game with $0.

Very fun game there, lots of taunting back and forth, started at 5 Am, ended at Noon.

Can't wait to get back to Vegas and try out some other rooms, like the ones you played at.

Also agree about your views on the Vegas regulars, so easy to spot from 10 miles away.

Often so crusty also. Give me a break.

What do you expect when you're breathing smoke 24/7 and living off buffet food?

From what I hear getting caught with fake ID is waaaaaaaay worse than being caught without.
