Anybody wanna like start a poker club? Would be kinda cool if we got all the 2p2ers playin pokerz in some wireless area with a shittonne of pizza..and hookers.
Maybe just start a thread here and agree to meet like once or twice a month?

Chyeeaaaa. Btw there's a weekly .5/1 - 1/2 game that goes on at an apartment here that I know of. Haven't bothered to go yet.

I'm poor. But, I can play .5/1 once or twice a month. Just not a lot of it (I'm assuming you're play NL/PL and not limit cash). One buy-in, maybe two. No way I can buy in for $100 or more though. Unlike you guys, I have to start paying off my student loans soon.

I'm a graduate student at PSU, finished my undergrad in the spring. I don't know if anyone remembers NiceFacePoker, but they used to hold nice-sized tournaments every Sunday like 2 years ago, like 30 dollar buyin and between 40 and 60 people on good nights. They stopped holding tournaments when the guys that ran it graduated though I believe.
Anyway, I used to play in a weekly game and those tournaments, but now all of my live poker options at Penn State are shot. I live in the University Club now, and I know some of the people here are interested in getting a weekly game going. We have like 3 sets of chips and a large dining room to play in. If anyone is interested in getting a weekly thing going, PM me and I'll see if we could get enough people. Also, the East Halls games used to be magnificent around 4 years ago, but last year I went back and they weren't holding any games, wtf?

I am def down for having at $20-30 buy in tourney, or a 50max 100max cash game going. It sounds like "ThePlan" has a decent setup. Not really sure where the University Club is tho.
ThePlan - talk to your other tenants and try to come up with a day/time and post it here.

The University Club is on the corner of College ave and Atherton, right next to the FedEx Kinkos. Its that big building that you arent sure whether people live there or if its offices or whatever, right across the street from taco bell. Its actually a really nice place, set up like a frat house but kept clean and the people are all respectful.
I'll talk to some people about it and see what we can get going. I'm usually really busy during the weeks though, so it would have to be a weekend thing.
