Check/call river here is better. As played you need to really have your opponent on air to call the river, you probably lose here pretty often.

I don't mind the value bet (I wouldnt mind check calling either), but I absolutly hate calling after he raises you.

I prefer a flop lead and would fold to river-raise as played.

I agree. Betting the river seems to be too thin. The check/call will also induce bluffs. Bluff-raising at 2/4, IMO is not that prevalent.
