You're correct, and I wasn't clear in my original phrasing. From UTG's perspective that's true, but from SB's perspective it's more than a pot-sized bet+raise. Therefore, this bet will be unusually likely to knock SB out of the pot, and that's an event we'd like to avoid. Alternatively, if we give up on SB we should be pushing.

Yep, like I said, I really like the turn push here. Don't really see us trapping two players here, unless SB is a downy or they both have an ace, in which case the larger raise isn't an issue. Honestly, there really isn't a wrong way to play this with this beautiful board, as long as you're getting more money into the pot.

Thanks for the help guys...It doesn't really matter in the end. I got cold decked..lost my stack to AK. But I still wasn't sure if I had played it right or what I could have done differently, had it been a dry ace.
