Recent Grad Options...

What are some good options for recent/soon to be graduates in history besides killing yourself or going to grad/law school?

I'm kinda in the same boat as you right now, BA in History and Music. I'm substitue teaching right now to kinda pay the bills...doesn't pay well. I've applied to a hundred or so places (at every type of place from banking to corporate to researching) since Jan. and still no job. GL bro cause I know how much it sucks.

Seriously though, history and music are not good majors for $$$ unless you plan to go into academia. Unless you've got some super skill outside of your formal education (m4d h4x0r sk1llz 4tw!!!1!1!!11ONEONE), I'd consider a graduate degree in a field you'd actually like to work in.

yeah that's basically the plan, get a MAT so I can teach at the high school and eventually a PhD and maybe go to a college/university. I'm not looking to make a load of cash just enough to get by comfortably.
