I really hate these spots, 200NL
Villain is an unbeatable 33/12/1 who has managed to call me down and win seemingly every pot.
In hindsight, knowing this I should have probably checked flop, and maybe even just called preflop, although he only minraised. Once he called the flop I was done with the hand until they cursed me with a flush draw on the turn. And obviously betting has no value. Is this still a fold? Re: I really hate these spots, 200NL
u could jam here :-\ . itd be like 120 more to call for villain. really depends on how villain plays postflop. jamming probably isnt that bad, if at all. Esp if you think he could have called you light on the flop, or if he actually bets TT/JJ on the turn here, and not AA/KK or vice versa.

Re: I really hate these spots, 200NL
I would never just call preflop here, this is a raise 10/10 times. I can agree with you that checking flop might be a good idea though, since he´s calling with a lot of hands.
He seems to be the player that will just call you with any pair here, like 88+, and I think that 2 overcards is in his flop calling range too. But when he bets turn, I think this is a fold/push. Calling is by far the worst. |
