Default AQ in 3bet pot against a nit

I think I butchered that hand a little bit. I was playing my normal taggish game at 19/16/3.8. Villain is a lot nittier 13/7/1.25.

First, is preflop a complete spew against such a nit. I don't think it's that relevent, but I just stacked villain on another table catching a straight on turn agains his flopped set and to add a little spice a straight flush on river which he paid so I think he's pissed a bit.

After I decided to call, what about the hand itself. Flop is pretty standard I think. Should I check behind turn or just be happy to put my money in with my TPTK???

Yes, fold preflop, //end thread. :-D

"Flop is pretty standard I think"
Yes.

Check the turn, you are way ahead or way behind here.
When raised on the turn you beat AK of spades and not much more.

i shove here all day personally... is this similar to the line he took with his set or what? I mean with these stacks, how much $ uve invested, and you do have TPTK on drawy board and he's frustrated with u, i probably go with this

As played fold, although check behind turn 100% dude. Your not getting value from JJ here ever. Is JJ even in his range?

Well I'm utg, but CO also (4handed). I'm very aggressive from CO and Butt obviously. I guess folding preflop is still +ev, but it's closer than it seems I think
