after attacking one of its cars as one of the worst ever, and then attacking it with a sledgehammer and blowing it up.

And now, for the idiot of the month award, Don Imus.

What the hell was he thinking and when should we expect he'll get the boot? I’ll say less than 1 week. What do you guys think?

The really bad part is he had been warned before about this kind of thing.

I really don't like political correctness and ethnic over-sensitivity and getting off on portraying oneself as a forever and incurable victim, but even I thought Imus was clearly way over the line here. God forbid I wind up even slightly on Al Sharpton's side in an issue, but this one is bringing it surprisingly close. Calling some young girl athletes "nappy ho's" is really effed up and stupid.

Okay, what is so awful about what he said? Why is what he said in any way racist? If I woman is black does that mean you can't call her an ugly ho? What am I missing?

Hm, I had always been taught not to call a woman a "nappy headed ho" myself.

Given todays' culture, it isn't exactly shocking for a man to jokingly call a woman a ho. Heck, one can do a quick search of 2+2 to see how often women are called bitches and whores.

I just don't get what is racist about his comments. I just watched the youtube clip and it didn't appear racist to me in any way. In fact,Imus said the girls on the other team were cute (which I believe were also mostly black).
