We call it "baloney pits," cuz it looks like you have a slice of baloney stuck to your armpits.

It's from wearing too much stick deoderant. Stop using deoderant under your arms and you won't have that problem. Most people don't need to wear deoderant anyway.

Are you saying the stains are from deodorant rather than sweat? This seems unlikely.

The "anti-persperant" type sticks are made of non-water soluable chemicals so they don't wash away. Day after day, that stuff builds up in the fabric and collects dirt.

Think about it, you don't only sweat from under your arm, but it's the only place you're putting on deoderant.

And I'm not from France. If you bathe daily, and don't work a job that's physicially demanding (a job that doesn't make you sweat), then most don't need it. I haven't worn deoderant in years. And when I stopped wearing deoderant, I stopped getting baloney pits on my t-shirts.

We're convinced we need deoderant because of all the advertising. It's the evil deoderant lobby that has brain washed you. FIGHT THE POWER!!!

I shower everyday and dont work a stressful job and stopped wearing deodorant because I figured I didnt really need it. Many people at the table started complaining that I smelled and asked one of my friends to convince me to wear deodorant. I was a little embarassed. Since I starting wearing it again I havent heard anything.

I think we are just not accustomed to body odor and our brains dont "tune out" smells. Also, being indoors confines the odors. Like we are playing poker, sitting around the table ten of us, I apparently have BO, one guy has [censored] stuck to his ass, one is farting, the other stepped in dog poop, the dealer is on the rag, etc. Outdoors this probably wouldnt be a problem but in a poker room it can get stanky.
