Default i heart tommy angelo

I haven't posted many hands lately. Here's one that incorporates a move I'm trying to perfect:

10-20 game, full ring, 100BBish stacks.

4 loose limpers, I complete the SB with

J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check.

BB leads for 80, gets called by cutoff.

I fold.

why play preflop if you are going to fold this flop? I mean I get folding but then why limp at all, where is the value in this hand?

I think you play it preflop because you can fold this flop not in spite of it. That being said, this is more of a standard fold, rather than a Tommy-esque one.

I personally would almost never call PF in that spot for reasons such as this hand.

Yeah, I didn't mention how bad the limpers were. They were bad. The value, as I saw it, was not so much in the hand's intrinsic value in a vacuum, but rather in how much they would pay off if I happened to hit big.
