Default tpgk - river bet size check up?

villain is passive calling station. Will call with any draw and any piece of flop.

yes. 10s, worse Qs, even random 7s are def in his range, but so are flush draws and goofy 2 pair hands.

I would never check here against a station. $40-45 would probably be good unless he's like super-awful, then maybe a bit more.

if u are going to bet, make sure u are betting with the intention of folding to a raise.

a value bet here is very thin, and i probably wouldnt make it against any type of player other than the one youve described, just dont get lazy if he moves u in. like a little less than half his stack seems like a decent sized bet to me.

I like to bet about $55 here. Checking behind against a station that will call with tens here is just burning free money. Plus, even a passive station is just going to donk into you on the river with a flush a lot of the time.

With his stack as it is, I ended up betting 38 to give myself room to fold if villain shoved. If I had bet 50, and villain shoved, I usually end up talking myself into calling and losing.
