However, this was only for a month or so, until those bonuses expired...then they went back to a rake of $0.25 for a point.

On a related point Paradiese changed their rake (this may be old news, but I haven't played there for a while!)
Previsouly at 0.25/0.5 and 0.5/1 no rake was taken until $5 when they took 0.25 - every raked hand counted for bonuses. They now rake 0.1 every $2 so the pot has to reach $6 to count for bonuses.
