aejones there might be something wrong with your personality if you somehow managed to get into a personal battle with one of the nicest people on 2+2

i dunno, he's always taken things so personal and serious with me, seems like i get a PM after everytime something even remotely negative comes out towards him, and i guess if i don't apologize and bow down before him, he brings it out into the forum. we've had exchanges in the past and in general i thought we were past this kids stuff, but i guess my PM responses weren't kosher with him this time and something struck a nerve.

Preflops pretty crap imo even with position.

I disagree. He doesn't HAVE to push EVERY time. Sometimes, he call call preflop and then push the flop to get a cb outta that psycho.

[/ QUOTE ]

yea yea, i didn't wanna say too much about it but thats pretty much my thoughts.. i'm rarely folding this preflop vs this player

[/ QUOTE ]

Lol I have no idea why I post strategy replies to hands posted in cheese threads. Nearly always non-standard, player-dependant hands and I look a fool!

Jay you really don't call KQ vs. lags button vs. blind? If a guy's repping me alot and c-bets a high % I'll call with KQ and play for pair value, with some bluffs thrown in of course, but it's not like I'm planning to shove every low flop.

I took hand in a vacuum cuz I'm dumb. And yeah vs lags I may call pf. Say the flop comes low and he c-bets into us. If we plan to bluff is it better to float or to raise flop?

Depends on the rest of your game. I shove alot more than call with real hands there, so if villain is competant and paying attention I shove. I prefer shoving KQ to AK because if an ace comes on the turn then I have to fold KQ to villain's shove (which comes a high % of the time) but I can often stack him if I floated with AK. People obviously don't bluff-shove as often on Q turns, or even K turns.
