Change things up if you're not having fun and playing well. Often those two things go hand in hand. Try a new casino, new limit, new type of game. Post some hands on 2+2. Take a break from poker. Maybe you will decide that poker is not the best hobby for you. After I lose I try to think through the session and determine what happened. This prevents me from crying on the way home [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] and helps me sleep well. Did I make any big mistakes? What was the EV lost by making an incorrect play? (1BB, .5BB, .13BB,) Am I unsure if the play was a mistake or not? --> post on 2+2 Come to a conclusion --> I made 10 mistake worth .5BB or I got screwed over and over. |
