My TIVO went [censored] nuts and I missed most of the first four episodes.

I caught the last one though and Doyle played superb. The posts in this thread make me want to check out the other ones if he's making huge 3-bet bluffs against Hellmuth/TJ. That's golden.

I hope I'm half as sharp as he is at that age.

Favorite line:

Hellmuth: "Oh, so now we're going to be playing that move-in game, huh Doyle?"

As if all good players don't start shoving liberally from the SB three-handed with all the chips against a nit in the BB who needs like a top 20% hand to call off when the blinds are huge.

Also, how the hell can you play Q3o any worse in that spot? That was like the worst hand I've ever seen played.

Doyle's ringtone was awesome, and this was probably Phil's worst performance on tv, he played bad all week..

"the rest of the world would raise all-in with Q3, but not me. I limp and give them a chance to bluff"

I heard it's very good to trap with a hand that is a underdog to a random hand.

"How much do I have? Ask them."

Isn't keeping track of stack sizes a basic poker skill? Honest confusion? Stalling?

Hellmuth's question surprised me as much as anything else in the last episode, as it seemed to display cluelessness, presumptuousness, or both.

Cheers, Carl.

Watching Hellmouth getting owned all week gave me great satisfaction. Seidel's line about his daughter's pacifier or whatever was awesome. Doyle showed why he is the man. Awesome week I thought.

I was stuck in a few tournaments when they were heads up and missed some of the hands. Did Doyle really have 77 here? Did he really have big hands the whole time HU like he said or did he play Phil at all?
