2nl JJ river decision, flush hit
CO is 80/20/1 over 25 hands, but i'd been on a heater at this table before this hand, about 45/40/inf over the same 25 hands, but hadnt shown down anything of note, and had stolen a few small pots from him. Is it bad to check fold the river? Obviously hearts are in his range, but I think some whiffed straights are too. Thoughts?

Re: 2nl JJ river decision, flush hit
i wouldn't c/f the river. with those stats, he could be calling you with something like a 7x pretty easily. i'd make a bet that is likely to get called by the hands you're still ahead of, despite the over dropping on the river.

Re: 2nl JJ river decision, flush hit
If I'm reading this right you only have ~1$ left in your stack by the river ? This is an easy push, he'll call you with worse pairs so often.

Re: 2nl JJ river decision, flush hit
raise to .2 pf - you don't want all those callers, and EVERYONE is going to call a 4xbb raise at 2NL
just push turn, he will call with a 7 and also a flush draw. |
