I guess with my line until river betting is pretty bad. If I'm the one betting turn, what should I do then? Shove? Check/call?

Anyway, I checked he shoved for ~$45. Call?

Based on villian's stats the correct play is probably to fold here. Takes quite a bit of discipline and on some rare occasions you will be folding the best hand.

If you lead the turn for 25-30 and villian raises AI, you can fold. If he flat calls again, I would check-call the river.

I'm having a really hard time getting away from this hand at any point as played.

I will on many occasions check this turn, but here i think you have to bet against this player. His stats are such that calling a river bet is kinda ass.

as played, i would call the river and hate myself.

This is good advice. Unfortunately I have a hard time following it myself.

I called, hated it, and won He flipped a pair of 5s so I guess my passive line was good this time but I didn't like it, especially when he went crazy with the bets.

I think villian shoves AA/KK/random hand enough to justify calling, given that we have severely underrepresented our hand. I dont hate a fold at all though.

This is surprising as hell from a player who barely has PFA factor above one. Maybe he was having a bad/good day.
