I think Oris makes very nice watches that are reasonably priced (I don't think there are any under $500 except for used, however). That said, neither compare to the Omega Seamaster my wife bought me for our anniversary. Whoever posted above that $1,500 is the starting point for premium watches is about right, I think.

[/ QUOTE ] This is so correct. Look at the range there: many different styles that have some character, as well as some tradiitonal type titanium watches, all at a decent price. Like the above quote says, invest in 2 - trust me you wont regret it.

Anybody know where the cheapest place online is to get them?
