hows the size of my raise PF?
can i bet less than AI considering my stack is = the pot?
I absolutely Hate a turn that makes the board a one gap str8 so checking behind is definitely not an option here?
Im either way ahead or i need the board to pair but reguardless im not letting go of this hand.
so how do i proceed? lead half pot/half my stack to try to induce a play from the hands im beating and bring on the crying call against the one im not?

you have about 4k left, same as the pot-size is, so shove it in.

preflop this is a situation where i like to shove, which will be seen as a squeeze and you will get a call often enough to make this profitable.

regardless im not letting go of this hand.

I'd feel the same way. So I'd be focusing just on getting their chips in, not on worrying about a K or Q hitting the turn or if someone has KQ (which is very unlikely).

So what gets more value, checking behind, betting small, or pushing?

If you push, you'll likely get called by AK, AQ, AJ, AT, JJ, TT, and KQ (obv). You may lose KK and QQ (or maybe not... and they're less likely anyway since they didn't push preflop) and will definitely lose 99 or below.

If you check in hopes of inducing a bet on the turn, you run the risk (albeit small) of seeing a scary K or Q come out. But assuming one doesn't, what hand bets here that wouldn't have called a flop push? 99? KK? QQ? I doubt any of them do.

So I think pushing is clearly superior to checking... and for the same reason as above, it make no sense to bet anything less than a push.

Matt

Ive also been card dead or not been able to play the medium strength hands ive wanted to because of too much action ahead of me so I havent played many hands except for big hands ive shown down against these opponents which have been AA/QQ. (ive been at this table for an hour and a half and should have appeared very tight) If i push i think they put me on the hand i have and i just take the pot down and add 900 to my stack. seems like a waste. so against opponents that view me as tight (its assuming alot to think theyre paying attention but.....) What size would u raise here pre if your opponents put u on a tight range and u expect a push to be a waste of a hand? (I think im better off actually executing an ATC squeeze than trying to give that impression with this hand) and ill post the actual results in a minute.

crappy luck but what can ya do. I was mostly just wondering if theres better bets to extract value from anything i beat after that flop but sounds like Pushing the flop was correct if i wasnt AIPF which most of you recomended but im still inclined to think Im not getting any action very often with that line.

i like a bigger raise preflop.... take a pot bet and add a few hundo to it. you don't want to price him out PF w/ the best hand, but u want to make it expensive to draw at something like this KQ trash.

i just posted about shoving opening w/ KQs...... it looked like it worked out for that spewtard, but mine can't beat 76s when i have the soots covered.

i like a check behind on this flop.... or the half pot bet giving him 3:1.... you're not worried about a flush draw, and you have the deck crippled. slow play it a bit to feign weakness or suck chips in. he already proved he was willing to commit chips.

i see stuff like this all the time in my 2.20 bounties.... esp from the people that have no clue how much they overvalue hands. he should have had AK or a low PP (or mid set) in my experience... just sick he woke up w/ this.

nicely played
