I believe you can bring alcohol now, the negotiations with the state for a liquor license fell through.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this.

Out of curiosity, in the past few weeks has anybody tried to book a Tower room at the poker rate for the week of this series.

Ya, at first they tried to tell me they had no rooms in the Tower at the poker rate and tried to stick me in the hotel. Just push the issue, they def still have tower rooms available. They are just trying to save those rooms for people paying full rate.

Great, I'll start pestering them again. Did you end up having to go through a supervisor, or just dealt with the same receptionist the whole time.

Edit: I'm on the phone with them now getting the same BS again and again "We can only offer the Tower at this time."

Edit #2: Seriously [censored] this BS. "We cannot offer blocks in the Tower for poker players at this time." I love live MTTs, and have had good luck at TS, but I'll probably just not go if getting a proper room is this complicated. The hotel doesn't even [censored] have room safes.
