I understand that some fairly basic calculations show that PartyPoker extracts just over 3% in profit on each transaction. This is possible because your rates converting from my home currency to $US and then back again are different. I know of one example of someone purchasing $CA1000, converting it to $US, and then back to $CA, and then they would end up with just $CA928 - before even playing a hand! This is excessive.

By contrast, when a player sits at a table in a currency other than their own currency, the same exchange rate is charged for both transactions (between their home currency and $USD). This is fair and reasonable.

I understand that your company needs to make a profit, and as a poker player, I am willing to pay the rake and/or tournament fees for you to run poker games. However, I think it is wrong that you take additional money from me for currency transactions - currency transactions that are not part of your core business, and currency transactions that take an excessive amount of money from me.

I hope that you will adjust the foreign exchange rates on your site to be fairer.

If u do a wire transer into a USD account it should work. I did it a few months ago when they wouldn't give me US cheques anymore.

Who is Lemayr on Party $400nl? Jesus christ this guy is [censored] nuts. In < 200 hands against him today he has 3 bet me 12 times, not even kidding. And he 3 bet several other people as well and squeezed nonstop but clearly was coming after me. One time he did like 4 times in a row on one table and called my 4 bet shove with AJ (AQ held obv). But wow, talk about spewy. It was a sick display. He also 4 bet a few times as well. The amazing thing is he is 24/18 overall and 23/17 for this 200 hand sample, lol.
