How would this have been handled if this was UB?

[/ QUOTE ]

I wonder... Full Tilt is still actively working on it. I've heard UB customer support is absolutely horrible, don't know if thats still the case or not...

does the clipboard have a history?

i mean, if you use the clipboard for copy/pasting and when done just leave some random junk on it... would there still be a history?

[/ QUOTE ]

The clipboard does not have a history, but everything is done in real time with keylogging. It's straightforward to determine when somebody has copied (or pasted) something, at which point the contents of the clipboard would be logged.

Be very careful with "free" spyware trials etc, many are designed to infect your system.

For those of you looking/interested in internet malware protection/removal and computer security there is very good information at geekstogo.com

Mods - please delete if this is considered spam, the site advocates free computer help and promotes free software and has some of the best programmers in the world working on keeping nasties off the puter. Top notch stuff, especially if you have childrens clicking on the damn moving target to receive their free xbox360.

Update? Did you hear from Doug or Josh or any other CS again? Did you contact the FBI?

[/ QUOTE ]

They are still looking into it, I still have alot of questions for them. I didn't contact the FBI, but I did file a report with the local police department, which I have heard nothing from. Here is the last email I got from them yesterday:

"The player ASD12 originally accessed your account on the date of
3/21/2007. It seems then that perhaps this player passed on information
to one of his associates who then accessed your account from a different
location, perhaps even disguising this information with a proxy server.
This hacker then most likely corresponded with another player so that he
may join your account at the tables and receive surreptitious funding to
his account.

ASD12 has been permanently banned from our site due to previous
fraudulent activity, unassociated with your account, which was
discovered on the day of your hacking.

Unfortunately, at this point in time the outlook of getting any funds
back to you will be bleak. The player in question who I suspected to
have cashed out your funds on the day of the hack, I am now in contact
with their payment processor to find out any additional information
regarding this player. I cannot reveal to you the player I suspect, as
he is not determined to be fully guilty. As mentioned before this
player has no links to any other fraudulent accounts which makes it very
hard to determine through substantial evidence if he is guilty or not.

Currently though, this player has been temporarily suspended as he is
under further review.

As always, we do appreciate your patience in this matter, and you will
hear back from me soon once I have any updates regarding your case.

Regards,

Kevin L
Fraud Investigator
Full Tilt Poker Support"

The only thing I can't figure out is why only Full Tilt was accessed as they appear to have gotten access to my email account. None of my other accounts were touched(as far as I know), the majority of them are still locked down. They have the IP addresses of all the logins, I haven't asked them yet if those had been logged in previously from other players, thats one thing I should inquire about.

The contents of the clipboard would be logged even if the virtual keyboard was used?
