Damn you Howard Lederer for turning BBV into a hatefest.

The least you could do is join in and give us your expert opinion on being fat.

Also lol @ the way this thread has gone.

What were you expecting? 10 pages of "LOL Howard, freak, weird LOL"? You got called a "freak," and the most obvious feature of yours that could be described as "freaky" is your weight.

People call you names based on your weight etc because that's such an easy target.

It actually takes relative effort to comment on your character.

That said, I don't know you, but from what i've heard, you seem like a really nice person, and that's what truly matters in my book.

i don't feel right piling on him for it, and you clearly have shown you have no problem doing it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Er, me? I've described him as being obese/fat when posting, but I've never said anything like, "lol fatty".

Me describing him as fat is no more/less insulting than me describing you as a liar. You are what you are.

I'd like everyone to think about your deepest insecurity, or your biggest flaw, then imagine that everyone on 2p2 not only knows about it but brings it up every time you post... How would that make you feel?...

...but I certainly don't think less of him because of his weight

Not to single you out at all, just using this quote as an example.

Why the hell must people single someone out for their physical attributes. I don't understand it. If it's something good then that's one thing but I don't understand why if you find something undesirable then why you have to immediately start bringing tons of attention to it and then hate on the person who exhibits the quality.

It's happened my whole life in every facet, and not just because I've been overweight most of my life. Why can't people just stfu about physical qualities and make fun of each other for being annoying douchebags instead.

Keep up the ownage, on the tables and off.

top-notch

the tapas bar has now hired away the beer purchaser from the Blind Pig
--excellent selection of beers if one is into that
my roommate just came back from there a few hours ago stumbling drunk

alas, I spend most my time at Jupiter's, Esquire, and Jillian's shooting 8-ball

Jupiter's does thin crust pizza right--their sausage is quite good, but counts as two toppings instead of just one
I like that they have so many toppings I can eat there a few times per week and have a new creation every time
1/2 price on Tuesday nights!

Esquire features the normal bar fare of food...nothing too exciting...most people are enraptured by their polish sausage sandwich which they splice down the middle

Jillian's has a decent quesadilla and a really good chocolate cake

all of these things lead to me being chubby

I like it and think one would be insane to forego those foods

unfortunately, I do not share gobbo's love of Outback. Actually, I like outback, but the local outback is run by someone I know from numerous undergrad courses. We were paired student observers for a middle school BD/LD class...fun times. We kind of had a falling out when I was drinking buddies with one of his roommates and was somewhat involved with a trashing of his apartment (all fixable) during my drunken manwhore days.
