Yeah, I like a turn c/r attempt a lot more if villain is bad.

Good players are pot controlling even up to AQ here.

His range here is massively skewed to A-x here, usually AQ and AJ, since there are no draws, and he presumably folds QQ and below on the flop. So, it is pretty obvious when we check the turn he's gunna check behind for pot control. I bet small on the turn, like 1/2 pot and push the river cos he's likely commited.

But as played, just push river

my logic was that he's really nitty (stats), so he very might well fold to a turn bet - bad?

that being said, I don't hate the turn check as much as others do, as long as you bet like 170 on the river.

Turn check is not necessarily a trap, against certain opponents its the only way to maximize the pot size.
