Returning tomorrow

Hey guys, I haven't been on this side of the forum for quite a while now. Tomorrow though I plan to spin off a stud session again and we'll see how I do.

In the meantime I haven't done any research in the field except I did purchase Paul Kammen's book on beating low-limit stud. I'm not sure how the general consensus here regards it, but I didn't really pick up anything much from this. That may be expect of course, considering I have Ray Zee's book which I have committed to memory by now.

Well, today has come and gone. Looks like either no one has read "How to beat low-limit 7-card stud poker", or they just didn't want to comment.

Nevertheless, I lost only 1.5 BBs today, which considering I lost a pot of almost 50 BBs with my rolled up Kings (arg), I guess that's not a bad session. I did get a little early luck in one hand here (posted below), though I was totally puzzled at the odd preflop action.

A player limp-raises with a K showing seems very unorthodox. It somewhat worried me here, then after I call that, a player to his right re-reraised after limp-calling with a smaller card. O_o At that point I was starting to wonder if I should drop things then and there as ideas of someone with rolled-ups started to flow into my head. Perhaps I was a little too conservative there.

Needless to say, after catching perfect on 4'th, I decided to gun it and if I'm vs a higher set of rolled-ups, at least I may fill up.
