What is so bad about taking a more conservative route and overbetting a non club turn?

I had his range at least right.

If he bet 3 bets all in I never win the hand 100% of the time. Either he has AQ (not too likely) 777 (eh) or a straight/club draw which I lose to as well because it always comes against me.

This is the best thought process ever.

Yeah I guess turn call is a little suspect.

It obviously depends on the player. This villain? Doubtful, which is why I'd do it to push him off his likely combo draw.

A one tabling donk with $140 at the table? They'll call and gamble with open ended straight draws or flush draws.

why the [censored] would you want to push him off a missed combo draw on the turn by making it ridiculous for him to call? You should be betting as much as he will call (obv enough that he doesnt have odds) and then you should want him to CALL.

By only calling the flop, the ONLY way we are going to maximize EV is by him continuing his semibluff on the turn and then CALLING our PSR (or slightly less than PSR).

Arguing with FGators is like arguing with a wall.

A dumb, stubborn wall.

As opposed to a smart, un-stubborn one?
