Default E-Mail From Party Poker to US Player

I got home to find this in my Inbox ... Looks like PartyPoker wants to get back into the US at some point (like that's a complete surprise to anyone):

Subject: Bring Back Online Poker

Dear Ron,

This is Mike Sexton, and I want you to get involved to help support the great game of poker.

I am sure that it isn't news to you that the federal government passed a law last year to restrict online poker sites from offering real money play.

I believe it is possible to change the legal landscape. That's where the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) comes in. I have been personally involved with the Poker Players Alliance, and believe you should too.

The PPA is a grassroots movement, consisting of poker players like us, who would like to change the law. Our goal is simple - to change the ban, and allow us to play poker on-line, on licensed and regulated sites.

<snip>

Anyone else get one of these, or does Mike just like the way I'm pwning the $5.50s lately ??? (LOL)

Last email I got from PP was that they were charging me $0.83 as a service charge due to account inactivity. I go this last week. I am an American.

Ironic that it comes from Party, the online room that deserted America.

Party Poker is like that slutty, decent looking chick you could bang in college, but never date. Now Americans have moved on and adapted, like a late 20 something on his way to marriage and all we really want to do is bang the bejeesus out of the college chick one last time.

I still get nauseous when I think of how much rake I paid them before I knew any better. They did absolutely nothing to earn my loyalty. Ever.

Best,

zooey
