50NL: Calling for value

Villain 60/10/4, 50 hands. That's not a big sample, but I think it's enough to say that he plays too many hands, and plays them too hard post. He seems to LOVE betting post flop: big bets, small bets, bluffs, donks, any position...the whole bit. However, his raising range is relatively sane.

Unfortunately, I don't really have any idea what his tendencies in a 3bet pot are. But my general thinking was that he is pretty likely to call my 3b with a very large part of his pfr range. And post flop, his bets could conceivably be with his entire range.

Hero is TAG, been playing (seriously) 7/5 over the 50 hands. lol. Card & Situation dead.

And yes, that is me giving villain 4/1 on his flop bet, and 5/1 on his turn bet.

Any particular reason we just flat called the flop and turn? If you think villain will continue to bet worse hands, I don't mind, but you can't like that J on the river.

I generally like the line and your thought process..The turn bet was so weak I may be tempted to raise..But based on your read I do not think a raise will max your value..A raise would ave to AI and will this villain committ his stack with a TP of jacks???? Based on your read I feel this villain betting range is wider then his calling range should you raise..The risk is if a A or K falls on the turn or river...

I said "generally" because we only hold QQ if we had AA and to lesser extent KK I would be more inclined to slowplay to the river then put villain AI(if TP did not pair)..

Meh, villain could take this line with a 6 or small/mid-PP. Based on how you played the flop and turn, the river is fine. You can't raise because villain will fold everything except things we don't beat.

I think you can raise the turn for value. Some one whom is this Aggr. would definitely felt with TP or even 88+

The flop is where you need to get value. If he calls the flop-raise you can think of slowing down a bit and call him down. But you def. missed value as played.

Villain has 99 and MHIG.

I think the value difference between the line I actually took and raising flop/turn is probably marginal.
