I'm still in. Got knocked out of the $5 rebuy - made the money but not much else. $10 rebuy starting soon...

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm still in the $3R. T$11K. Need to catch some cards to really go far. No FE but your big hands sure do get paid off... I raise UTG with 99 after not playing a hand for about half an hour. I get six (6!!!) callers.

I'm only good for one of these a day, they're total tilt-magnets!

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm out now. AQs ran into AK. And now I'm like 6 rebuys stuck in the $10 rebuy. Had the best of it in 2 all ins then ATs < ATs (yeah that hurt).

I'd like to know how you raised to t6250 with only t4700. Must be some kind of advanced tournament move.

Who the heck is "hongzhong" (NL 100 full-ring stars)? The nittiest short-stacking nit I have ever seen, running at 7/5 or something like that, a waste of a valuable seat.

Also, sorry for jumping in on the harrassment at the tables.

I thought it was hilarious that that guy made such a big deal about you keeping your stack at 100. He obviously has no clue why we do this.

I was upping my stack also, of course.

[/ QUOTE ]Sounds like a funny story, can you elaborate or post chat fragments?

P.S. I'm doing PLO when I feel sick of NLHE FR.

7/5 is pretty standard for a short stacker providing he is doing it with like 20BB.

pokerboy; I'm not an expert but I think 20/16 will get you doing well with not putting you into a lot of bad decisions up to 200NL or so...but I see numbers like 26/20 all the time around 6-max forums..Of course, I might be wrong

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks for the advice.

From what I have seen in the 50NL games I have played so far, it doesn't take much (maybe just a little common sense) to beat that level.

[/ QUOTE ]

anything from 18/15-23/20 are decent numbers for 50NL- 200NL although preflop numbers arent that important outside of keeping your PFR close to your VPIP. I think running 25+/20+ would get you slaughtered at 50NL because no one folds ever.
