Default C-Bet Quiz

7 cbet decisions: yes or no on each/comments.

Rather than giving a separate read on each villain, just assume unknowns or standard 15/12 to 28/24 type villains - in other words, no maniacs, geniuses or droolers. Obviously specific reads matter in real-time, but here I think concentrating on the "pure" decision re: value, flop texture, stack-sizes, FToP, position etc. is more the issue.

All 50NL. Players seeing flop in bold.

1.) Check; coordinated board 3way. don't have position on both opponents either

2.) Bet; Headsup pot - I always c-bet headsup pot and this flop seems pretty neutral

3.) Bet; Headsup pot - I always c-bet headsup pot. This flop however could be better but I'm still c-betting.

4.) Bet; Would be better were it rainbow. However, there's one broadway and it's not too drawy + there's a good chance UTG has a pocket pair lower than Q. Plus they both checked to you.

5.) Bet - headsup pot. With AA and KK I'm def. checking to try to induce him to put more in the pot later. I may try that with JJ and maybe even TT. I think 99 is startin to be a little small though.

6.) Check; 3way pot...very drawy flop and you're OOP

7.) Bet; you could still have the best hand here and there are some draws. If it were headsup I'd probably check behind with QQ and perhaps with JJ. However, here with JJ and 2 opponents gotta bet it.

1. no 3 handed OOP drawy board
2. yes
3. yes
4. maybe most like no tho
5. seems like a board you get c/r a lot on but I still cbet for value.
6. no
7. either. I usually check behind here and look to gain value from other 1 pair hands on later streets. Or you can cbet and take down the pot/shut down if called.

Hand 1: I don't love c-betting here. We'll get called by any decent club and have only four outs against any reasonable club-containing hand that would call.

Hand 2: I would bet here because I see a fold 95% of the time.

Hand 3: Easy c-bet spot.

Hand 4: Again, easy.

Hand 5: Of course here.

Hand 6: Wow, out of position, multi-way, with all kinds of draws. C-betting here would show incredible strength, so against a decent, observant table, sure, but... in uNL, no.

Hand 7: Absolutely.
