Game begins Monday April 23rd. Sign up at your own risk. The faint of heart need not apply. THis will be a quick game. Lots of death early and often. It won't last more than a week, regardless of participants. Roles will be adjusted to accomodate.

I'm going to bed and will questions tomarrow...these aren't finalized roles and I will change some names and clarify things later. Notice how I got lazy on names later in roles.

Welcome to the 2007 World Series of Poker. The biggest poker event in history is set to begin. Thousands of poker players are vying for their shot of the Hundreds of Millions of dollars to be given away this year. It will be no easy road for Joe Shmo. The pros are out in full force looking for their piece of the prize and competing to be the best in the game. After a tough year for poker this shining event remains untouched by Bill Frist and his political goons.




The world series gets underway and is a smashing success. Record fields appear in every tournament. It is finally time for the main event. Incredibly over 15,000 entrants make their way into the event making for a prize pool over $150,000,000!!! There is an unexpected visitor to this event. Bill Frist has made his presence known Our story begins as the field is whittled down to the final table.

Before play begins, Mike Matasow speeks up: "Listen up donkeys, I'm about to roll

through this table. Who here has the balls, lets do it WINNER TAKE ALL!!!

Everyone laughs looking at Mike's lone 50k chip, but suprising he looks dead serious and isnt' budging. people start to look around, each believing this was there year. There was a consensus. This year the winner would recieve ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS!!! OMG!!!

The rich and powerful have come out to see the action today. The ownership of Ceasars Entertainment, MGM Marage, and Harrah's Entertainment are seen in amoungst the spectators.


Money is brought out from the back, crate after crate filling up a dozen tables looking like the following:



All of a sudden the lights go out and gunshots are heard. BANG BANG BANG. Minutes go by but nothing else is heard. Finally the emergency powers kick in. The crowd gasps at 2 frightening sights. The first, and the lesser horror, is boiler_bd the chip leader is found dead. Apparently he will not be getting his 14th bracelet of the series. A shot to the dead had ended his impressive ownage of the competition to this point. The second and evern more horrifying was the money. One Hundred million dollars had vanished! The building is searched but none of it is found. The good news is everyone is still accounted for as the building went into lock down when the power went out, that is everyone but one man (Bill Frist). Security is confident he is around somewhere though. He couldn't have done this by himself, there are robbers about. A team conspiring against the series to take down some hard core loot.

Security is devastated to see many of their weapons stolen during the raid. This could be one ugly mess. With so much money out there, who knows, one might try to kill everyone just to score the loot for themselves.

A letter is found on the middle of the poker table. The announcer picks it up and reads it:

"Poker is over, finished. It is a demon and a curse to society. Tonight we purge the world of its sin. Never again shall this event take place. Our demands, simple. Our resilience, infinite. You will open the back entrance and let us out with the cash and in addition the major casino's in Las Vegas will be signed over to us. Ceasars Entertainment, MGM Marage, and Harrah's Entertainment will be no more.
"

On the back there was another message:

"I have achieved great riches thanks to you suckers. I have been amoungst you all this time and played you for suckers. I challenge your best to a game of chance in which I will demonstrate my ownership of the metagame. Pick now, the stakes we play will be high and the risk taken by the individual great"



They all stood around in silence until one man stepped forward. A man of great daring and intellect. "I will play these fools to the death" he pronounced.

GAME Roles and Rules

The village consists of the honest players and spectators of the poker community. They want to see the money returned to the game and the final table played out.

The evil faction wants to steal the money for themselves. Some of them are rumored to have actually been players...

There are also a few people who have other plans and want the money for themselves or maybe they just want to be shot.


********<u>GOOD ROLES</u>*********

Phil Ivey - seer role - known for his innane ability to read into people's souls he can pick up on one person's true intentions each night.

Daniel Negreanu - seer role - great at reading people, but not as strong as Ivey. He gets a peek every other night beginning night 1. If Ivey dies he gains his strength and is promoted to full seer.

Mike Matasow - Ticking time bomb. He is going to blow up it is only a question of when. Rumor has it he has acquired some explosives he found during the chaos. Don't fret his heart is still pure. He must blow himself up either day 2 or day 3. He must post KABOOM in bold and himself, and the players who posted before and after his last post will be killed. (the post before kaboom).

Doyle Bruson - king of poker, he can cancel the lyncha and replace it by pming the mod any day. He is masons with Lee Jones and may gain additional powers.

Lee Jones - good poker player, see below. Masons with Doyle Brunson.


*******<u>Neutral</u>*********

Phil Helmuth - classic serial killer role (kills every other night beginning with N1). If Steve dies he gets a kill every night. Wins if he is the final player remaining.

Steve Dannenman - rival to Phil he is determine to steal the money before Phil gets it. Wins if he is the last player remaining. He gets a kill every other night beginning night 2. If Phil dies he gets a kill every night.

Evis - a looney man who dresses like elvis and makes a living marrying couples in a chapel down the street. Wanting to belong he tries to convince the people he is a robber. Wins if he is killed by a pro-village action.

Bozo the clown - the entertainment for the WSOP cannot take the heat and wants to end his suffering. He wins if he is killed by a pro-village action.

Jamie Gold - looking to bust people he is now looking to take out a few of the members present. His goal will be to get players on a list lynched.


******<u>EVIL</u>*******

Bill Frist - leader of the takeover, he gets an extra night kill for the evil team every other night beginning N1.

generic evil - working with Frist on the takeover.

evil poker player - see below, identity unkown.


Terrorist (s) - name subject to change - win with the evils and willing to die for the cause. Traditional terrorrist role. May chat with the mob boss. May not chat with other evils.

Juggernaut - name subject to change - see x-men. One night he may go on a rampage killing as many people he can until he runs into security. May chat with terrorrist (s).

outcast - returning from my old game the character has to choose at the end of night 2 one character. If that character is good the outcast looses and dies. If the character is evil he joins the evil team.

*********<u>Good or Evil</u>************

Security (# TBD) - If the Juggernaut runs into a security guard he is stopped. Some of these guards may be evil.

silencer - may silence 3 players during the game.

one time vigilantees - arms are abundent and many amoung you will have the power to take lives.


*********<u>High Stakes Poker</u>***********

Lee Jones and the rival poker player will pick a card each night. The goal will be to beat the other players card. Here is how it works. Each player picks a card 9 through ace. If your card is higher than the other players card you win. The catch is that 9 will beat an ace. There will be people to take over if Lee Jones/evil poker player dies. The stakes go up each night until night 3, after that night the stakes will be minor.
